Welcome to EUSA's Futures EDP Program. The Futures program is the initial stage of our Academy EDP program, establishing a focus on the development and fundatmentals of a soccer player in an unpressured environment. The Futures program is open to soccer players from the age of 7 to 10. The aim of the program is to identify those players who are committed and dedicated to improving their soccer skills with the goal of playing in our Academy program.
EUSA has partnered with EDP Futures (Eastern Development Program) to provide a program for soccer fun and growth at a higher competition level for those players looking to challenge themselves.
Futures EDP comprises of small sided games working in 5v5 and 7v7. By using these small sided games, players are encouraged to take more touches on the ball which is a key stepping stone on their pathway to becoming a better soccer player. They will gradually become more comfortable with a soccer ball at their feet as well as becoming more technically skilled players. Our Futures EDP program operates under both festival and league format depending on age breakdown.
For U7-U10 age groups, teams will be split into 2 5v5 squads and play in a festival setting of 4 games of 20 minutes each for 8 weeks. Some U9 & U10 teams may play a 7v7 league option of 8 games per season. Training is 2x per week usually from 6-7:30pm.
Registration commitment is fall & spring. Uniforms are included and replaced only as needed. All players are US Youth Soccer carded.
